Brilliant Dave - a great achievement after all the time. money & effort that's been put into this :thumb:
Next stop, tens x x x
Do you have any idea how much that would cost ?
around £200.
a trip to shakies...
Sorry Ross, I ain't buying that at all. To save a few tenths of a second - quite possible. To shave off a whole second just with a change of track & the same mechanical spec - nope, I don't believe it would.
And who's to say he didn't get a better launch technique-wise or had something tweaked ?
who's to say he did.
im sure it was more than a second he gained.
as dave said, cars run 10's at pod and hit 12's at crail.
Did lee have slicks at crail?
Congratulations Dave, 6 years on and I still haven't seen this in the flesh! Maybe it'll be when you hit the 8 second barrier?OK, myself and a number of guys returned to Crail Raceway today.
My own goal was a 2 part affair...
1 - To break into the 11's, being the first FWD car to do so at Crail Raceway
and
2 - Run over 130 mph terminal speed
Well after numerous runs, some changes with suspension, boost and launch techniques, added with a lot of frustration, I finally did it with a run of 11.94 @ 129.7 mph.
I also managed to run over 130 mph on 2 runs during the day.
JOB DONE!!!
Thank you guys for all your support and help, it's been worth it!
