Tricked out Almera GTI

Looks like a great weekend and a good result for its first outing, obv apart from the damage.

Is it built from a set design or all your own drawings?

Be good to get it on scales, looking at it I can't imagine where the estimated 700 kilos comes from.

What is traction like?

Lol, drawings o_O wtf are drawings? I bought this:

then started chopping it up until it looked like this:

I then started to glue things onto it until it looked like this:

But on steroids, as mine'e got a proper motor, not a feckin gokart engine :) Oh and yes, the one above is likely to be a £10K+ car, judging by the inboard front shox, £1250 each Fox rear shox, and most likely a Hyabusa 1340 motor hiding in the back. This is one serious bit of kit and waaaaayyyyyy out of my league. I just wanted something that looked good but didn't cost me a fortune. That way, when I bin it, I can still laugh about it.

As for the weight, I probably make up 100kgs of the estimate, being as I'm a fat bastard, the rest I just guessed at CoV. My lad is back off holiday now so I should be able to get it weighed this weekend, then I'll be able to say for sure.

Traction is good and provided by a weld locked diff. The trouble is that makes it a bastard to push.

There is one always on a trailer at a tyre garage in Chester. It's redtop engined iirc...looks fun.
