Mapping next.

Plan after mapping.

Get some slicks, and set the car up for a June event at the Pod.
Aim 13 second run. 1/4 mile
Watch this space.

fiinaaalllyyyyy

glad to hear

but are you really expecting a 13 from a totally bone stock 20ve?!

spose it could be done with slicks, mega weight loss n good mapping, mebbe

Cheers, as long as the mapping goes well I will be very sure of it.

Can't wait been a long time coming.

4th of June 2010 it was last time it was running with the old Sr20de, can't believe it.

nah i wouldn't be too sure of the 13 mate, i think you'll be surprised by the stock 20ve when you drive it....surprised how not amazingly fast it is if you're expecting an easy 13

i'm glad it's sorted now but i do have to lol after all the banter you gave me about being the first vvl n14 n all that.....a year on you got it started

Well in no rush, looking to keep this for a while, done all the Evo/ Pulsar/ Scooby stuff, just want old Skool now.

The car is very light, anyway whilst mapping, i will make sure I get it on a bridge and get a power run.

I will look to source, light windows tailgate and bonnet.

Car will be close to 900kg hopefully.
Hopefullly I can have the last laugh.

Just based on 200bhp

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 200
Weight without Driver (KG) : 900
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 225.79
0 - 60 (Secs) : 5.29
0 - 100 (Secs) : 13.09
60 - 100 (Secs) : 7.80
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.69
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 102.26
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.49
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 104.14

Yeah but can you drive?

And are you hoping to get 200hp using 20ve's, isnt that alittle high, what else have you got on this to increase it to that?

200bhp is optimistic with a stock 20ve

and how much does that roll cage weigh? 900kg is optimistic too unless you do get plaggy windows and fibreglass panels isn't it

lol its no good having the last laugh when everyone else has packed up n gone home :P

as dan said, what breathing/supporting mods?
