So far...
Car's running sweet, this is without mapping.
The dead injectors before, which was one of the main reasons for not starting has led me to think the engine was just sitting around in the states for years before I bought it. Especially for all 4 injectors to have died.
Anyway.
Cars fine..
New fuel tank
New fuel
Next week's plan
New engine oil/ filter
2 day mapping session to get the best out of her.
Fresh rubbers triple A's.
Fresh M.O.T
Fresh Tax
Then time to get her out, can't wait to finally get her home, but I have been very patient, almost jacking it in at one stage.
So just hope it all works out with mapping figures etc.
Once i get it back I plan to take it straight to the pod on a flatbed truck.
Do some shake down runs and testing and see what times i get.
Then if need be get her back home, strip her a bit more then track it again.
Then the plan next year is to go carbon all over and then add nitrous or do a turbo conversion.

Car runs, now before mapping just want to check all is fine.
Vvl wires all connected.
Now here is the issue.
The vvl switches click but there is no change in exhaust/ cam noise/ note.
Start mapping? What could be the cause?

No oil pressure at solenoids. Have you ve or de block
