get a gti, spend a bit on engine - cams, lightened fly etc etc and it will shift look at the cars on here that will shit all over those mentioned without turbos
 
Fuck sake can nobody on here see beyond their own car, an almera does not solve everyone's problems, be realistic. I know this place is inherently biased but come on
 
you have got a point, there are plenty of faster better options bla bla bla, but whe the question is about what he can do with an almera then ya gonna get a discussion about almeras
 
dude you dont always have to get more power than them - power to weight ratio, and torque etc etc, easiest way to explain, a lupo gti can out pace cars twice the size even tho its a 1.6 cos its power to weight is greater than a big 2.0l cars
 
No what's being said is that the GTi will perform better than your mate's Celica because the GTi's got better torque and range of power, and lighter.
 
FGS - if you want 250 bhp & AWD, just but a bloody Impreza. Lord knows they're cheap & plentiful enough now ! No, it won't be an Almera but you will have the essentials of what you're actually after.
 
No not standard. You'll have to mod it as said...........Induction, header, exhuast, Cams, FPR. Geeeee. But you'd have a beast.
