Had a busy day today thanks to the mountain of parts I got yesterday off members (cheers fella's).
Only got two things done today but they have been so worth it!
Front bumper removed:
New bumper to fit:
Stripped:
The front metal bar that was bent nicely sprayed up with hamerite thanks to andy:
The old one:
Refitted together:
Started spraying up my splitter:
In between coats I decided to look for any more damage and rust to my car...safe to say I'm unimpressed:
I think I've found out why I am losing oil too:
Finally! The car back together complete with front splitter and now with bonnet and bumper marrying up (This has been my Achilles heal since I bought the car!).
That's all for now but I have the other goodies to get sorted and on the car yet!
Decided to go crazy today and finish spraying my interior up so it all matches
Think I've done a good job and it definitely works well in my eyes. Opinions please? Although it's be a ball ache to change now so it is staying haha..
With any luck the exhaust will be fitted on Friday too
Jim if ya sticking to the white theme maybe paint the mirror/headlamp leveller surround and also the window switch trims on the door cards to tie it all in ! Looks good tho !
Not a big fan of white on the dash, but I think you'd pull it off better if the rest of the dash was one colour. I'd go black flock? Because white/blueygrey/beige is not a nice combination
