After spending 20 minutes trying to explain to the Nissan parts lad what grade I needed, him then still having no idea. I went home and bought acls.

As long as you get the parts with X on the end, other wise there are sizes.

I am right in saying that some of you would rather use an ACL bearing at some random size, rather than an OEM Nissan bearing that is the correct size?

as said mine were plastigaged to check and were within spec

They aren't necessarily for VE, and will fit a DE just fine.

They aren't usually required for DE unless going +T but they will fit.
