Dave's P11

right ok heres the full info

the cat cams were first to be adjusted to exhaust cam 2.5degrees advanced to try help with the huge over fuel issue at idle. results were not great 165-170bhp etc more mapping got to about 173-174 not great. so back to the first setting we had.

now this is important!! the actual BHP figure may not seem a great hike but bear with me!!

171.2 BHP from old map

changes were 2.5'' mandrel cat back
fuji manifold kit
new ht leads

got this time round

175.0 BHP

now obv i was expecting more i maybe didnt get it in peak BHP figure but look further

the peak power is more but holds for longer and starts earlier and holds very well

TORQUE also got a good chunk added right across the range *thanks to new exhaust set up* we peak at about 159lb of torque compared to previous about 151lb of torque BUT we also get more torque right across the range.

the rough/lumpy mid range issue i have has gone.

i will end on this

the car has become very smooth almost original to drive but the power curve is immense. im very suprised at the impact this has had all round. very impressive smoother drive, idles sexy as funk, and once you hit 3k the car shifts like and it pulls only to be stopped by the limiter as the graph shows. the car rasps, crackles, pops and even blows sparks out check video below (28s)

Decent power, what are your plans next?
I take it internals are std, e.g you just have bolt ons, cams, exhaust, header, and mapping right?
Nice torque as well.
Take it down the line next year.
I wonder if he can better my power as it is? I know it's different dynos and all, but it would be good to see what he can do if any better and take it back to my local dd dyno.
Power at the wheels? Guessing around 147?

Are you his twin brother Ben, did he say that or are you talking for him? Lol
It's hard to say that when all we want to do is try different things and more mods, I said it, Ross said it, even you said it lol, but we keep changing and adding to things...lol
P.s actually if Greg @ pro tuner is not an authorized hks f con pro dealer/ mapper he can't touch my car. You need the unlock code.
But he has shown reasonable mapping and figures with the likes of Dave, Stig, and Sprint.

Thats it now the car fantastic drive. next is de+t picking bits up over time. got a custom bumper to fit and rust to sort.

my mpg went from 26.3 to 31.2 last night.

looking forward to enjoying it and paying the money back lol.

drag strip for sure nice to meet you guys in person. track i doubt it

that p11 has lots of work on it, congratulations for the results

thoug I must warn you, one day that exhaust line will end splitting
