maybe this the wrong thread to discuss this but..... with my old ecu in so a normal 128bhp slx set up my rev counter hit 6500 when changed to gt ecu it hit 7200. so the gt ecu is higher than none gt but egts etc were higher anyway?
 
Yeah but as I've said to you before you cant go from what the rev counter says, at those revs they get inaccurate, Ive seen 7600 near as makes no difference on my tacho, but it obviously isnt doing that.

the rev limiter for a P11 GT IS 7000. you have not hit 7200 with a stock ECU.

the rev limiter for a P10 eGT IS 7500.

Ecutalk showed 7500ish on mine, sometimes a touch higher if I'd bounced the limiter hard (only 7600ish though) and did show 8000 once as I decided to go for 2nd at 80 at oulton park..... Brown pants moment and then proceeded to do it several more times throughout the day lol
 
So did he definately raise the rev limit from 7000 to 7200... I want catcams 514's myself but curious what its safe to rev to without S&R's.

Besides that did you get any further with getting the trueness of the cams established from catcams??
 
I don't get that then, every GT DE ecu running engine I've seen dyno plots of has a stock rev limit of just short of 7k.

Edit: just looked at one of your dyno plots, 7500 I see, have you not had anything done to that ecu then?
 
just a quick update

fuji manifold on its way :)

then remap booked for 7th of dec

we firstly going to just do a straight dyno run see what effect the entire exhaust system has done to the car.

the cams are going to be dialled into a new position. and the fuel at idle will be altered by a huge amount as my HC reading is 4010!!!!! emissions good bye mot no chance

so another long haul at gregs but looking forward to getting a smoother ride ( ish ) and hoping to reach that 180 mark....... MAYBE

just got fresh new oil same as before 5-40 titan pro which going in over weekend
