Hows the car running, did you get any feedback on the catcams measurements to know if cams have been made true?

Catcams uk are pretty useless tbh...
Not a shining example of a company you wanna deal with... They never return a call. Never answer questions directly. And just generally wilf their way by.

Im ought to send a set of cams to catcams.. but i forgot ... ooops
They have replied to all my emails in the past, and provided me with technical details of there up-rated springs. I will email them in regards to trueness of there cams just thought Id ask Dave directly before emailing myself. Partly reason behind me not buying them yet till things are clarified not because I doubt there a bad company like you suggest.
So Ross have you sent oem cams to Catcams to be looked at, I can chase it up for you if you like cause the guy I have spoken to knows his stuff.
Catcams have been sent an oem set of cams and measured etc. Dowel pins are cast in the correct place so no issues there.
They need an engine though so they can re-measure lift etc. on a RR SR20 as they no longer have the head that was used initially.
I'm working with catcams to resolve this issue though.

Full engine. Catcams have said they will travel to the Londonish area (they're based in Brighton) if someone will let them take measurements off their car. Should only take an hour or so and this would put the catcam saga to bed.

They can come to mine cos it still not perfect pkus the amount they were out by were shocking. the issues caused running at oem.sprockets would be awful. they a very track based cam imo

I do find it a bit odd that Hally and Dale have had no running problems or anything running same size and bigger JWTs, or saying they are 'track only' cams.

Dunno ben these cat cams arnt common so not got out really to compare to. maybe sprockets or mao need adjusting
greg said they seem spec wise very track biased so tweek on fuel may help.
right sort of a big update alot of this is in process of been complete some fresh engine bay pics with new oil cap cover, powder coated rocker top, new red spark leads,quick shift fully s/steel air filter give a distinctive metalic sound, alot of blue pipe to red just slowly changing them over time. front bumper it sorry state at mo. got mesh and grills ready to fit to a GT bumper to it be a very aggressive front end but that in next few months before that fitted
