That really is pricey but Shadow Chrome needs something special as it's not just sprayed like metallic paint would be. Good quality finish anyway, lets just hope it doesnt flake like the last one.
 
Went to a proper place this time, went for quality not price conceitedness :rolleyes:

One thing that was interesting the nice receptionist lady told me not to use any chemical cleaners on the wheels as it turns the lacquer dull after a while. Use bodyshampo wash/wax wheels regurly to keep the shine! Doesnt help my cleaning OCD though :stuart:
 
Wheels do look really good, I think bump strips are needed though, even if they are colour coded....Almera's are just too big for a smooth look. Your bordering on Transit there.
 
part from that dab of rust, it all looks really nice. the ride height looks fine for daily driving imo too. the wheels look class, very nice kolor and finish :punk:

Been involved in a rear end collision today, stopped in que to get onto the roundabout see car coming fast in my rear view mirror within a second glass imploades in ears still ringing :no: car litterally jumped forwards a few feet tho! Women said she thought the cars weren't stopped?! Still in shock

I think its safe to say its a writeoff??

Not quite sure what happens next, insurance currently dealing with everything... Really upset by it all
 
Definitely a write off I'm afraid :(. At least it's clear who's at fault though. My sympathies mate, not a good thing to go through.

I'm impressed with the bumper though, doesnt look there is a mark on it!

also if you havent declared any of the mods id remove them now!

also things like the vzr rears and boot surround, get them off asap!
as when they take the car you wont be getting it back :)

tbh, i would remove as much as i could, ie rear bumper, skirts, grill,anything that is worth something, as just replace it with pov spec shit :)
 
Sorry to hear! Always horrible loosing a car! Like what's already been said, remove anything of any value, you declared everything?
You going to get it back and repair it? How fast was the impact?
Never seen a rear end with teh bumper being intact and the bootlid bending like that, very strange.

Yeah my 1st GTis wasnt half as bad as that! Thats deffo a write off! Swap all parts if you aint told em! Ask them if you can buy the car back! he fault clearly dont let her try and palm it off onto you.

as said above. anything worth anything needs to be removed as a matter of urgency.

wheels, splitters, lights, anything worth anything that can be pulled and replaced with stock.

ESPECIALLY your decat. if they inspect the car and see it has no cat, it will be deemed unroadworthy and the insurance wont pay you a penny for a thought.

gutted eddie, that really does suck.

but am i the only one thinkin that even though it's a rear end shunt, eddie's notorious driving could be to blame :P

he said she said she didnt think the cars were stopped was she blind from the sounds of it she was speeding too all his parts are declared but ive told him unless he wants to loose the parts still needs to get them off asap

I feel sick too, bitch said she didnt think I was stopped in other words she didnt really brake.. she probs was slowing down abit but not really attempting to stop. Kinda weird how it crumpled the centre on both our cars but the out edges didnt as it they bounced back? :death:
