cams lobes look perfect will need to check under the cap caps though and check the journals, will be worth stripping it down and getting it all flushed out though.

having spoken to a few people we have all the bits between us to put together a solid 2 litre bottom end, will be lucky to find a complete 20ve bottom end.

Should possibly be able to use your current ecu as well.. might be an idea to look at nismotronic or a nistune though.

Any reasons for ecu swap? That's cool stuff about the parts..cheers for that..need to get a list stuck up here for all that is needed and what gaskets etc I need..think I will get them from gspec including new chain
 
ecu swap would just be for more resolution on the tuning tables, the powerlands are quite limited imo
 
Ahh sweet ok..need to read up more on that...With nismotronic do I still keep the 8 injectors running...or am I looking to have to weld them up...also what ecu to have the nismotronic fitted to
 
Would be swapping to 4 slightly bigger 370 injectors, same as I planned to.
Nismotronic can supply you with an ecu with the board already installed. Swap a few pins round and it will be easy enough to get it running.
 
If i was given the option to have a 2.2 and made to happen,I would certainly will go for it.
Only on this planet the once. Have fun:)
 
Haha...true dat...will at the very least have a look at what needs to be done and the costs involved..compared to just going 2.0
