My GTI-R

shot peening could be worth a go, it will help as it will relieve the materials of surface stresses that could lead to failure. You could look into that cryogenic freezing stuff to, there was a feature a while back in some jap mag about it and they where raving bout it, i think its fairly cheap too

well the 1st option is to avoid a twin plate clutch, 2nd option is to not bother with all the freezing/peening and just get a quaiffe or PPG gearset

Yea if you can afford quaiffe then of corse, my brothers gti-r was 380bhp on a standard box and box is still ok, although in a couple of weeks when it's back on the road it will be roughly 480bhp and over 400nmt hopefully

shes getting there. fitted the exhaust tonight and the seat is ready to go in tomorrow, then all i need to do is do the brakes, im hoping she'll be ready for the weekend woohoo

unfortunately not craigy darling, i hacked the kakimoto to bits lol. the exhaust consists of mongoose downpipe, mongoose resonated decat and kakimoto cat back with the rear box removed, i cant wait to fire it up, oooooooh its going to be loud :sinister:
