N16 SR20DET conversion

Well, don't worry. You didn't think i'd trust them did you?
I'm having it inspected before he starts, monthly during the work and by vosa at the end. So it'll be all mot'd and everything.
I have to be provided with a weekly report with pics and reciepts too.
The bloke inspecting it is my 'expert' and he has the last say in what is done and fitted.
Can't help thinking i've been here before? lol.
 
GTR Skylines(and most Silvias) have a factory black intercooler and they do not seem to have heatsoak problems. Besides, the intercooler is normally hidden out of the sunlight, behind a bumper bar.
 
Right lads, next monday I need to pick up my Almera and any other parts because once again the garage has failed to comply with mediation and finish my project! So, after 3 years of trying, it doesn't look like this will ever happen.

Anyway, I need a car transporter or trailer. Can you hire them? can I recover my car by using the AA? or is anyone in Dorset/Somerset/Devon able to help?

Any help appreciated as I have a week to sort it, cheers, Rob.

I notice the 'almera with gti-r engine' is listed on their website as one of the conversions they've done, aye right.
 
Ok, went to Wincanton to see my 'completed' Almera project.

Some of you may know the problems, but it's a long story.
So, after 3 years of waiting, with all my money tied up in it, this is how my Almera looks today....

gutted, can't understand why a professional garage can't complete the project.

outside europe the n16 was equipped with an SR18 engine with has the same block, so the engine fits good in the car. Sad seeing the project dies.
 
whats the court proceedings. do they not have to finish it in a set time. and do you not get any money bak from them screwing you around

I can only hope. I hate to see people that mess about with your car do fuck all and then ask you for more money and have not even done the job.

I am sure the N16 came with SR20's as well in China
