Interior has been dropped off at a local valet spot for an intensive steam cleaning and i started to lift the sound deadening, which is an absolute prick of a job.... so i can repaint the floors, rear interior and seal up the quarters which are fairly mint!

Just hit it with a rubber mallet and it pop off in sheets. Amazing just how heavy that stuff is..approx 20kg just from the floor pan. I'm gonna do behind the dash too one day.

Its too hot over here at the min for the rubber mallet trick. Going at it again now while its a bit cooler outside.

Did you remove the underseal residue before painting the floor?

I lifted as much of it as i could but full interior will be going in so i wasnt overly concerned with having it spotless. More for sealing, rustproofing purposes than having an immaculate stripped out rear look. If that makes sense...
