Rebuilt all the calipers last week and fitted them all up. Started to bleed them through yesterday evening and getting loads of fluid to each caliper but its not building up the pressure in the pedal. Bled the pipes going into the abs pump and that helped a little but the pedal still goes to the floor with little resistance. Spent a good 2 hours bleeding them again this evening and still no joy same iffy pressure in the pedal. Is there any bleed valves on the mc that i cant see or on the abs pump? Any help would be great as its final piece of the puzzle now.
Yeah its taken a ton of fluid at this stage. I cant see it leaking from anywhere. Thing is its hard to say when it was last driving as it was lying up when Nathan got it. Dont think ive nicked any seals but ill doublecheck today.
I'll have a look when I'm home at Haynes and see if there's anything anything about bleeding the abs. Unless you had every brake pipe off the car and completely drained the system I can't see how that would be a problem though
Sound job man, i did have all the lines off for a week when i was undersealing, thats why i was bleeding it at the abs pump. It did make a slight difference but barely. I'll try bleeding it again tonight and see.
