Could be of course. Depends on the profile used. I guess from 15" to 17" is a big hike so would need a stupidly low profile to match the radius of stock for an N15.

There wasn't time for faffing about with cameras and 3m tape for 50/50's etc. I had an afternoon with my bud to do this, and we knew we'd be flat out. Then it PISSED it down all yesterday so pics wouldn't do any justice at all. Hope to get some decent pics next weekend if it doesn't rain.

I'll check the tyre size. Good point, I never even thought about rolling radius etc.

bigger wheels will tramline thats a fact I hass experienced.

go and get all the geometry fanagled and the wheels checked for balance/trueness

It's the lower profile that causes the tramlining so yup, that's what's put on bigger wheels. I'm feeling the effects with the tyres that came on my wheels, 205/45. They're Eagle F1s too so that's compounding the problem with their stiff sidewalls.

As long as you wipe off any excess its not a problem. Especially on the flat plastics like window seals. You can use an airline to blow the stuff out the wee nooks and crannies. Im more practical than perfect.

It's more to stop you from dragging dirt out of these places and causing further scratching than stopping polish from going in. Oooo now an airline is a great idea!!

Well today I paid a visit to "Billy Big Bore" at Complete Auto Solutions in Shotts to get my exhaust seen to.

First up the car went on the ramp and the old MIJ 2.25" Exhaust was investigated.

Clearly crush bent and with a middle box that was literally falling apart, it was beyond salvaging for a "performance" application. So off it came..

The 2.5" piping was tac'd up with MIG

Then removed and welded up with TIG

The quality of Billy's welds are very, very high.

The back box has been flanged to allow easy fitment / maintenance. Plenty clearance up for the beam too.

Total fabrication time was just under 4 hours.

And you know what, after all that, I didn't even get a pic of the tailpipe! Tomorrow lol.

We also worked out a deal for AOC members who want a similar exhaust made by him. This two box fully stainless 2.5" system with mandrel bends with any tail pipe of your choosing will be £330. His usual price for this would be nearly £400. His work all comes with a lifetime warranty while you have the car.

Relatively clean-ish. The wheels are growing on me. The grill is not. Think I want a VZR. I also really wish to put the side strips back on. Anyone got any?

I think the alloys and the lucino grill looks ace, makes it looks quite modern and sleek :)

Looks clean without bump strips also, stance would help focus the eye on the alloys abit more then the vast emptiness of the side-panels

H&R spacers :stuart:
