here's a couple more of mi GTi @ the Renault World Series few weeks back. non on track as they wouldn't let me a, my cars to slow and b, it wern't french LOL
Wow looks stunning especially in the second pic! Just noticed your flat wipers too! The cars a beauty keep it up.
seeing as sunday the weather held of a bit, thought id give her a wee bath. no not like that, behave LOL
didn't have time to polish her, just polished the front and rear bumpers along with the black gloss b-post.
engine bay could do with a full detail too, but for now a wipe down will have to do.
full detail maybe this saturday if im lucky

errm. thanx i guess LOL for a 9 yr old red car im even supprised how well its been kept. it'll look even better with a few layer of polish mind. its just finding the time to do it, on sunday gone i spent more time taking pics than i did washing/dryin it haha.

Meg's clay bar kit
what a wkend just soooooooooo i wash'd her again. im developing O.C.D. LOL
tbf the car wasn't even that dirty just the wheels and boot really. least that made it easier to clean.
After seeing the results of mates clay'd car, thought i'd invest in a kit.
Bloody impressive stuff , didn't realise how much crap was stuck to the paint until i clay'd the car.
Polish'd with AG super resin and then sealed the paint with Meguiar's Tech wax (free sample from car show), spent about 4 hours giving it a thourough clean. Over the moon with the results
this = clean car time
this is the crap removed from a just washed car;
after claying came the AG polish;
then the Meguiar's wax/sealer;
end result (yeah swirles nearly removed);
sorry no entire car pics, we all know how it looks.

been busy again carried out;
P2 service (oil, oil filter, pollen filter, spark plugs)
decat back on (you know why)
40mm lowering springs
10w40 this time and not 15w40 like what i put in 3k ago huf...................... what a dummie.
new NGK Iridium spark plugs, certainly looks a more purposeful design too compared here to my old Bosch Supers;
new pollen filters also as the last ones where killing me slowly, together with a A/C de-odoriser canister.
whilst doing the service the fedex man gave me this big yellow box
so not sure if there the right way round............... eek

really gotta watch those kerbs when parking up now tho.
