STOLEN 99' Spec Almera GTi

^ yeah comes up really well after a wash, yes pal Spax -40mm springs

Craig its by far my best mod, love it cus it crazy JDM rare & to my knowledge no one has ever put an S15 steering wheel on an almera. it feels and looks awesome.

next is Stage 2 clutch and lighter flywheel (when mine starts to nag)
short shifter from NPOC GB
Nismo replica CAI hard pipe to stnd air box.
Stainless Steel 2.25'' centre section (again when mine starts to blow)
63,000mls service when its due in the summer :)
then rolling road set up, nothing silly really.

thanx all

the gear change in the GTi is pretty sweet to be fair, however it is damn long eek. Sam's GTi was my kick in the bum to buy one as ive seen/felt his an its well TOCA hmmm

Looks very smart that David :thumb: I prefer the shape of the larger one but think the B&M one will look better... if that makes sense :lol: Got to get me the Nismo short shifter for mine!

thats the original of the pulsar short shifter I got and was told by my mechanic that it wouldnt fit!!! Bet that one set you back a few pennies mate if its a B&M one.

^ yep B&M one fella worth it tho hey. imo the Razo one looks better fitted however B&M knob helps the shift no end as its weighted perfectly.

Razo for show, B&M for go :)

after a long time coming the weekend I brought a new stainless steel mid section for the GTi. Thought I better had before the oe one starts to blow, but the condition of it was pretty decent.

took alot longer than the planned 2hrs, the kid was half way through building a crush bent system. So had to wait another 2hrs for another two guys to make up a mandrel one. I was lucky as the main guy said that normally they have to order in the pre-bent pipe work. However they had enough of the correct size to make the system. Pop’d into town for a late lunch, came back and it was nearly done.

exhaust now sounds a bit deeper and i can finally feel the benifits of the 4-2-1 at last.

Enjoy;

The guys at the garage did a spot on job, however my tail pipe now sticks out about 3cm further than before. Where as before it used to sit perfect. Would it be too petty to bring the car back and have it amended?

Bit late joining this thread, but hey ho.....

Lovely cleaning job on the car at the start of the thread, really got your car looking superb mate. I like the pic in the underground car park looking down the side of the car (the darker image)...cool pic.

Your car does look awesome though.

Great stuff mate :thumb: About time too! :lol:

4 hours eh? Pisht, try waiting 7 hours. :lol: but then mine was turbo-back and the turbo and CAT was not easy to get to with 3000 heat shields and a water pipe in the way (sheilds all removed now :D).

raceworx - its a 2.25' system now, 3' would be overkill maybe

GT Qualiy - thanks for your kind words pal, makes it all worth while.

Edk - your frigging right lol, should have got is done way bak. however i didn't see the need as my current pea shotter was in good nick.

some pics @ MIJ performance while we where waiting;
