been busy recently, but ive clothed the inner doors,
got to fit;
goodridge brake lines,
new wishbones with poly bushes,
poly exhaust mounts,
lightweight flywheel,
fidanza clutch kit,
front section of the rollcage,
polycarbonate lexan rear 1/4's and rear windows,
catcams 503/504's
remap

all happening in the next few months, :)

cant wait now, gonna pull the engine out in the next few weeks too,

its going back in with
UR pullys
lightweight flywheel
fidanza clutch kit
JWT S3 cams
then a remap!!!

mmm

lol forgot to say that when i bought the maf/CDA BMC filter off sam, i fitted ot onto my car with the 18de in it, then when that went wrong i put it on the egt engine and mapped it, got 144bhp! :(

but after i went to belguim (spa) i checked the filter and OMFG it was sooo dirty! it had leaves twigs and was thick with grime, must have been pretty dirty from when i bought it, cleaned it and made a huge difference hahahaha, )

then when i fitted dales inlet pipe, i had to cut down the tb-airpipe hose and there was a cleaning bristtle brush (mini chimney sweep brush wedged inside it!!!!!

now it is really quick, throttle respone is super! cant wait to get all the above mods on and remaped now! :)

then in 3 weeks polycarb windows and front cage section to be added! ;)

next year = trackdays ftw!

my mate had a rolling road day today, its going on till 1am tonight!!! lol

put my track car on it, :)
Before it was 144bhp, since the last time all ive done is cleaned the air filter and fitted dales hard pipe, it could do with a bit more fuel to up the power as it was mapped on a extremely dirty filter, :)

It wouldn't be, it would be to do with the mapping?

Still dont get why you took out the old GTi engine and put in a high millage egt highport lump, could probably do with getting the old injectors ultrasonically cleaned/flow tested. Who goes to get a car remapped with a really dirty air filter thats just lazy lol!

BMC CDA with Dales hardpipe looks good though

maybe the afrs are all over the place cos the ecu can't work out why theres a shit load of oil pouring into the intake as well.....now that stu's removed the mini chimney sweep brush from the breather
