Stus Track Car

Stu's not on very often so I'll try and fill in what I can remember:

  • Polybush'd with SuperPro on wishbones, rear tailing arm, steering rack, anti-roll bar, drop links, all engine mounts.
  • BC Racing BR Series coilovers with 7/5kg rate springs.
  • Whiteline rear antiroll bar.
  • 4 point Cusco front underbrace.
  • Quaife ATB LSD.
  • BuddyClub P1 15" alloys.
  • Toyo R888 tyres.
  • Basic welded roll cage.
  • Fully stripped, a lot cut away from interior chassis and trim too.
  • P10 EGT SR20DE engine running Autech cams (iirc),
  • Dastek UnichipQ mapped.
  • HKS mushroom air filter.

Got the usual header and custom exhaust but don't know what they are.

hahaa,

ill be rebuilding the p10 egt enigne at the begining of next year, will hopefully be getting some new and differfent pistons ;) new rods and new crank ;)

then swap over all the turbo parts from the current setup :) plus some rocker arm stoppers.

yep, flatted it down today, another coat of basecoat and some laquer is one, going to give it some more laquer tomorro, then hopefully all done :):)

cheers andy, just a few quick pics in my way to tescos ross, dont usually carry a tripod everywhere lol.

Sam yeah is ok actually, im suprised how little it hits stuff but my coilovers are still quite firm, i have scrapped a few times, but on my last run to pod i only caught it once and that was on the small country lane leading up to pod entrance, :)

Yeap them twisting country lanes leading up to the pod....bumpy and not forgiving to slammed motors.
Feel like your on a rally stage going through them..lol

did some work on the track car today :)

removed all stereo, ABS, fog light switch, rear washer pipe, boot light wiring.
total weight of wiring/abs ecu etc 3.6kg.
still got to remove the hub/arch sections of the abs wires.

i also got some material and covered my dash, came out pretty good :)

Why you keeping those heavy arse seats, buy a decent fixed back seats and save about 35kg better hold in the corners much safer in the event of a accident on track when used with harnesses
