Fuck me, thats porn........ Pure filth!!

Honestly though that is one absolutely incredible car. Fair play k3y because its amazing, would love to see it in the flesh but I've no holiday days to go to JAE (stupid new job). Get some more pics up....

Thanks for all the comments guys - its a long journey soon coming to fruition.

Was speaking to the tuners today, they're still waiting on the TEINs but the gearbox is now getting fitted back on to the engine. They're also cleaning down the engine area before its put back in.

So hell yeah, itching to get my foot back on the pedal!

The colour always seems lush out of my DSLR, besides on visit they had it cleaned up.
I'm intending to have it resprayed, as there is quite few scratches on her and in places the paint doesn't look even especially on the bonnet. That may be due to the massive amount of heat from the engine.

Generally, on photos, the defects don't get picked up. If the TEINs are not here by the first 2 weeks of August, respray and the smoothing jobs will have to wait until after JAE - which will be a shame as I'd prefer it all done for it.

Still, I'd just be happy back in the driver sear again, driving around in automatic Micra for last 10 months has been rather too slow for comfort on the motorway journeys.

Well apparently all the WHITELINE stuff is installed, still waiting on the coilovers.
I've also had to buy some uprated EBC Discs and pads but not, unfortunately, the Big Brake kit it turns out they are most likely to be available well after JAE. (tooling'n'stuff and it not being available off the shelf yet as I'm the guinea pig for the UK!)

Talk about down to the wire! Car has passed MOT and is running fine, according to Tuning Japanese. Now the small matter of the bill. I seriously doubt it will be small but there's always hoping.

Tomorrow I pick up the car, so I can dash to the Post Office for a new tax disc - the spend never stops. Then I'll have to fill her up too! The annoying thing is that I have to find all my statements so they can compare where I'm up to with payment which is complicated by the fact that my online statement only shows the last 6 months!

All in all should be okay for JAE!

Well the verdict is, its an awesome ride. The gearbox sound is very whiny and is the loudest thing to be heard on the motorway or even at the traffic lights. Its some getting use to, but so long as you down gear into the right one it can have some serious pull. I've only done it once so far when I dropped from 5th into er 5th - which was a tad annoying.

So its 350bhp at the moment, but they say I'd should upgrade the gasket to a metal one (probably a cardboard in there?) before looking into the 400-450 marks. Before then, I should really pay some attention to the braking as the EBC GreenStuff and Discs are less than adequate in handling the deceleration! I'm told the MeisterR 355 won't be completed until January so may have to hang back on the power runs. Need to de-cat it too, not sure how much bhp that would add if anything.

Looking forward to getting it on a rolling road.

Have found some minor annoyances, like the brake clips sometimes touches the brake disc giving a squealing sound - not much I can do about it. The air ventilation dial that elects direction from face to windscreen seems disconnected. Still can't figure out why the fogs don't work - all Relays seems to be there?

May need to take a weekend to strip back the dash.

I've also upgraded to the flat wipers but found that the middle part of the blade doesn't touch the screen properly!

Other than that, there isn't much I really need to do to the car. Got a quote from Kode-Performance to respray the car and door interiors, sort the dinks and smooth the bonnet jet washers/ door key hole, handles and remove the weld line on the rear boot (under light clusters), fuel cap interior surround and rear bumper scratch all for £1500 inclusive that's paint/labour.. which is pretty awesome pricing. Just need to find a nice sample of blue paint.

I'd like a slight deeper/lush blue than the Marine.

Finally, I'm looking for some decent places to take it on a photo shoot sometime.
Again, thanks to everyone for their kind comments over at JAE, it was good to see you all again. Can't wait until next year!

truely is a fantastic piece of machinery you have there 350 not enough
Wanna get it in the 400s :D

nice man, bet its a hand full
Got some serious torque steer, it does demand full concentration when giving it the beans plus both hands on the steering wheel!

Respray? Its immaculate anyway haha! Certainly looked the part at JAE mate, beautiful N15
Personally its the last thing to finish it off that and the big brake and head gasket. Its got quite a few swirls, dinks and scratches. To me its an eye sore. That and I'm a perfectionist which doesn't help.
