Dstek Unichip

Well after following my visit to a Rolling Road i found i was running lean low rpm and rich high rpm, the guy advised buying a Dastek Unichip so he can map the AFR....so here it is!

Took me a week just to get them to send me the wires, as they said they donot sell them seperatly, 5 days and 2hours of shouting later.....one is delivered to my door! what a waste of time and money! Why couldnt they do that in the first place??!!

VZR Grille

Just received my VZR grille from shiny_blue, absolutely amazing condition, will be spraying it and putting it on car when i get a chance.

Personally i think its by far the nicest grille for an almera, but everyone is welcome to their opinions. Ive never seen a VZR grille painted arctic blue so we will have to see how it turn's out.

In other new's iv changed the fuel filter, re-set the fuel pressure with kev shek, purchased a brand new fuel pressure gauge and put in a set of hotter spark plugs!!

Or even better if u sprayed the gti wheels white and purchased a carbon bonnet, plus a few other little tidy mods! :D

yes!! White wheels all the way as far as Im concered like!! Thats lowered thought aint it? Syms, get some coilovers lol
 
i like that photshop simcard, but im going for the standard looking modded engine aproach, so maybe a carbon bonnet would be too much?

If i change the shoe's of the car will be for some rota's :P

Coilover's is summit i mite buy in the future, but at the minuite my car spends more time on the ramp's than on the road, so they are pointless, would just be alot harder to get my car onto a ramp to work on!
 
yeah hopefuly im all set for fast and modified. Can i not park my car behind ures?!?! Will be my 1st show lol! Il be the "n00b" lol
 
JWT s3r Cam's

Well they arrived in the post today :) Some nice spanking new JWT s3r cam's. If i have time i "may" install tonight, depends, if not it may be a few days.

JWT's fitted

Got the JWT's fitted tonight. Here's some pictures during the instalation:

Since fitting them ive sat on my drive for 15mins keeping rev's at 2k, then i drove the car 10miles so far keeping it below 3k rpm. Once iv done roughly 50miles il up it to 4k rpm till i reach about 150-175miles then ill see what these babies can do!!

Since the 10miles drive a very slight "squeek" has come from the engine but i presume that to be the new cam's bedding into the roller's and the cam seat's

Wish i could just put my foot down! :( but want ot bed them in properly so i will have to wait and see!

i fitted mine and drove for 150 miles in one day to bed them in (couldnt wait), as soon as it was done i give it some and was pleasently suprised, from 4000rpm upwards it pulled alot better.
the squeek is the cams, still got it now and i love the sound.
 
Nice one. This car is progressing very quickly.

I'd be way bored of mine by now, doing everything so quick.
