Yeah, PAR upgraded it to the larger type spline on the later shaft.

I have given GRE an e-mail to see if he wants to do a deal and I could just replace 3rd gear and whatever parts are needed to complete the built.

It's a shame, as the gearbox would have been good to go!
 
Dave, is that the 18 spline? Going by the grooves it looks it. You'd be wanting the 24 spline like mine. Was one of the first things I had to consider just handle the uprated load. Perhaps have a chat with Gerard Chan (GMC) from GCCorp perhaps there's an option of swapping the input shaft without having to get the entire lot?
 
You not think it is time to run a PPG gear set dave or even try a Quafie???

I take it your not looking to sell the car now?

haha, good man, at least itll be safe, and you know the engine can take it,

you dont wanna spend ££££'s on a custom shizzle box then up the boost then the engine goes pop :lol:

like me,

i think ill stick with the 1 bar @ about 340-350 bhp, fecking fast and reliable,
the turbo can run 1.8 bar would love to think what power id get from that, so im guessing the engine will pop before it reaches that, but i can see your point of 'what it would be like?' but your gonna have to put up with a slow 22psi im afraid :(
