I have girlfriend, family, work, mortgage and bills to think about not to mention my everyday car to run.
The project is just a toy.
But I really do plan on getting the engine swap in before spring 2011.

Its a standard SR20VE Dan..
I doubt he even knows the advantages of the 16VE or 16VE N1 cams, after all, 2 litre VVL NOS INNIT.

I am sooooo fooking mad with myself. :axe:

I have been working on the sr20ve swap into my Nissan Sunny Gti.

Now I was playing around with 3 distributors, the sr20ve one, the sr20de-almera one and the sr20DE sunny Gti one which i wanted to modify. i.e cut off the bottom leg section.

In a moment of madness I cut the wrong end off, arggh. I cut the top end section off.

Now we put eventhing back together, the engine in, wired up, dash lights come on, fuel pump noise there.

It is trying to start up but just will not fire up.

Is it because I have fooked up the distributor?

Will I now need a new sr20DE sunny gti one as the other almera gti low port sr20de and the sr20ve ones are different.

Tried spinning the distributor the other way round still not firing up.
