VSpec's N16 DCi

The n16 rear hoses from Hel, there the same as the ones I won on eBay for the s13 front brakes set up which included hel hoses.

So you're saying N16 rear hoses are the same as S13 rear hoses? Wasn't quite clear about which you were saying :/

Yeah, N16 and S13 hoses will have benjo bolt ends on them. S14 and 300ZX will have banjo on rears and standard screw in on fronts (for the 4 pots). The only screw in types you'll find on an S13 will be conversion hoses (for Nissan 4 pots) which is what we use as well. As Phil says non banjo ones must be for rear drums too.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you compare the hoses you already had with the ones on your car like I suggested?

Thanks for the input guys. There still on the car Ed, so didn't know what they looked like but when I ordered them he asked me are they for drum or disc brakes. Think they must have ordered the wrong ones then :( .

Give her a good clean all round.

4 Year Later...
A big big thanks to Ed for all his hard work to make this bonnet group buy dream come true!!! Think mine was the last to be delivered, been really lazy! Managed to get it delivered for £13 city link :) & KR didn't charge for £10 packaging as it was already packed. Just need some help as the bonnet doesn't seem to close & it seems that its slightly bulging upwards on the passenger side..? Drivers side is spot on. I've just taken some pics making the bonnet stay down. Any advice guys..?

Cheers

P.s any other of my bonnet brothers fitted there's yet..? Any issues..?

Go go gadget rims glow... & bonnet :)

Just for the sake of it...

to adjust the bonnet, use the plastic rubbers which are on the top of the radiator support behind the headlight.

if the bonnet appears slightly twisted, just open it, and twist it by hand a bit by hold on 1 side, then pulling the other side down with your other hand.
I had to do this with my genuine bonnet.

Cheers for the info bud!! Yes that's exactly what it seems like its twisted, I'm afraid to do it as it's a custom made GRP bonnet..? Whoa quite suprised you had to do that with your genuine bonnet. Any other bonnet buddies had this problem..?

I can't comment on grp or fibre bonnets, but I know it's quite a common practice on replacement steel panels. My bonne had been sitting in the garage for about 2yrs without any form of packaging lent up against a wall, so it could have twisted slightly from the angle it was on.

Maybe contact the place who made the bonnet, or a smash repairer that uses fibreglass or grp based products

The Turbo has got me turbo'd up to get on with my build!!

A lot of work over the past week, all started last Friday when I got all my tools out to get the collies on (finally haha 9 months on), the garage opposite my house saw me & said they would do it for £50 I was like you what..?! What you waiting for then. Managed it in just over an hour, as I needed it ASAP.

Then I got some quotes for other bits:
£25 Front 4 Pot brakes
£15 Full SS Exhaust
£5 rear anti roll bar
£5 rigid collars
£25 hybrid Turbo+Cat

I was like 'yeah boi' that's my kinda prices haha. All Done but the Turbo & brakes still in the works will get some pics tommorow. Next on the list will be Turbo+Gutted Cat. I've been quoted £15 a side for fitting the 2jr wishbones, drop links & the 2jr bump steer kit.

Looks nice in some pics :)

Please dear god remove that backbox or modify it to single like you said.

Needs lowering on those coilovers.

How's the rear ABR? and is she running again now?

do the rays actually making 114.3x4 te37's, or thats a replica? Or maybe they have made them in the past (no info on the their site, or just me being blind) Although they do look awesome, waiting for lowered pics now!

nice to see brakes upgraded, I believe with more power this is a must, how do they feel compared to the stock?

How rude of me!!

Sorry I was rushing & just posted pics as I was at a desktop, don't like doing things on the ipod lol!

I forgot to thanks all the AOC members that helped me with this 4 pot conversion (& for anything else)!!! Phil, Liam, & Ed to name a few, really appreciate it fellas couldn't have been possible without you guys, your expert advise has been really helpful (even if it was to drill through my thick skull a few times)!! Just waiting on my good ridge hoses & hopefully will be complete.

Thanks mate.

Yes I'm defo wanting to change to a single exit soon! I've not really driven it as the brakes need pumping to stop her, I might not be able to feel the improvements as, I've not really cornered hard with my mera just straight lines mostly, & as I've done all the mods in 1 go (collies, rigid collars arb).

I thought this had coilies?

It has, but I have 40 profile tyres, I left it on the settings Daz had as I thought he was low enough lol. Will wait till I get 45 profile & then see how it looks & then lower more if need be.

No they are the real deals, they do make 4x114.3 seen a few on Hondas, just had to come by. I was just a right lucky git, & even luckier managed to get white & in 17's.

My brakes aren't finished yet, but when I pump them & they finally stop its really stops quick!! Yes I think it is a must too, once the turbo & remap are done then these brakes will be really fit for purpose.
