    Very Very Rare Phase 2

Also says sports/convertible? that is very rare.. maybe that means it was in such a bad accident it is now classed as a convertible after the fire crew had to cut the roof off??

GTi insurance is not that bad.. would rather pay out on the insurance and have a GTi than spend £££ on a 1.4 and trying to make it look like it has more under the hood than it has..

    Hello fom Devon!!

That car looks the nuts... yep gutted indeed.. although I am enjoying the comments above, as it was 4 years of washing the alm most weeks that kept her looking like that.. Have picked up the new ride, a Honda Stream.. not quite as sporty as the alm, but has a Honda 2.0Vtec lump, 156bhp and 0-60...

lol.. Its scary to think under all that crap there was once a decent Almera.. I bet they thought WTF the second they got in it to drive home.. what a depressing drive that must have been.. mind you with all 4 exhausts going i doubt they could think!! I like the way even the seller is admiting...

    A question for N16 owners ?

I have an N15 P2 Gti and get this. Don't know if you have a sunroof, but when mine is open the buzzing stops.. close it and it starts again.. give it a go.. does not work so well when you put the drivers window down as the wind noise is too loud to hear if it has stopped anyway.

    Not quite a newbie....

Quality looking alm. What 18's are they and any idea of cost? DId you have to mess about to get them to fit.. I guessing not as I have seen smaller arches on coaches.. The roads in Hampshire are no better.. my alm GTI p2 is on standard springs and wheels and even then can drive me a bit mad on...

    Oil for GTi

Change brake fluid as well.. I have been living in a land of bliss!! now I won't sleep at night (although having a 10 week old son sleep is a distant memory).. I'm joking of course.. I'm still a little shocked at the thread above tbh.. could have almost said oil in the motor.. I thought it was...

    Oil for GTi

those pesky bullshitters.. that opens up another question.. how often should the clutch fluid be changed? I have only had the oil done on mine.. never bothered with the nissan service.. figured when buying the car 4 years ago that it would not be worth much by the time I sell it so as long as...

So, SS back boxes.. good, bad or burnt valves?

also.. does anyone know if the Janspeed would get though an MOT? again form my bike days unless the can has a BS stamp on it the mot centre woudl fail it.. same with cars I would guess?? Just mot is due in MArch so don't want to get it on the car only to take it of for half an hour and then put...

So, SS back boxes.. good, bad or burnt valves?

The straight through sounds like quite a laugh.. and thanks for the mini review of the Janspeed.. sounds more like what I am looking for.. just a bit of a rasp to make climbing the revs worth while. Have a 2 month old son and not sure he is quite ready to endure that much noise from a system...

So, SS back boxes.. good, bad or burnt valves?

Cheers rowdy.. Not actually too worried about any gains in BHP, just would like to have something else to listen to when there is naff all on the radio!! joking of course.. but the standard exhaust is too muted, and now i have no bikes to get my kicks on I have turned my attention to the Alm...

So, SS back boxes.. good, bad or burnt valves?

My only experience of exhaust and the pors and cons are from motorbikes.. I know when I put a race can on my fireblade it was advised that I get the ecu remapped and dyno the bike to avoid damage to the motor due to it running leaner than with the standard can on.. Is this the same for cars...

Hay Dub. Going good thanks.. Good to see a fellow Dubliner in here.. Well, I'm half from Dublin anyway..
