Eddie's SRi

I get about 20-25mpg in normal driving conditions in my vzr eddie.

How many VZR's have you driven by the way?

None but its not about have I driven a VZR or not, I just prefur the more moddern design of the VE engine.. and it has further potential later on. And besides my insurance company prefer me keeping 1.6 category.. and I like reving the nutz of

No point trying to critize my judgement, I understand Joe also about DE is cheaper.. etc but that's his choice not mine

Ive had a look at all the routes, and SR16VE appeals to me the most

Im not after a frigging debate lol, besides as sam points out.. stroking the engine is very possible too

VE just opens a few more doors in terms of future upgrade path etc, and I dont mind putting £££ into VE and think im shooting myself in the foot.

1.6 and Proud :zoidberg:

Washed it cause where I park at work a tree decided to dump shite loads of pollen onto it, ive since relocated my parking space :)

And im learning how to shoot like Edk ^^ haha

Decided to put the VE engine swap on hold, wana get car resprayed & sort out brakes/handling & rustproof entire undershell. Get my base sorted if you like before I give it the iceing on the cake 175bhp & VVL :)

Wheel colour is growing on me, can't help wanting to see em with one white spoke for some reason...

Car looks very smart Ed.

car looks clean the colour of the wheels is horrible! The description would be "blood ridden stool brown"

haha yeh i was thinkin summin like that

eddie, whats the aim of your car, what do you want from it? cos on one hand you call it your project, track slag kinda thing, on the other you have ya levva seats, sound system and now want a respray etc

it's pretty clean anyway, i'd say if you're genuinely gonna do the engine swap thing, do it - stop procrastinating with resprays etc. ask sam, i did exactly that with the n14 lol n shoulda just got the ve in early

Its not an all out track slag otherwise id have no sound system lol, its a Fast Street car

Yeah it doesn't need a respray granted, in its current state could leave that till summer 2011

Colour's different, thats why most people aren't quite sure. Human's tend to be like sheep following white/silver/gunmetal etc they work okay sure but wont exactly be that unique

Re-sprays are a waste of money, unless your wanting a completely different colour or a show winning mantle piece car. Go with the 16VE, it won't blow you away with speed, but grin factor is epic.

Wouldn't it been easier just to say "my colour option was to go for something unique", than go further explain that the rest of us humans naturally converge for the purpose of popularity and then state the obvious and say this behaviour is not of the "unique" traits - which its not and nor is it trying to be! Keep the language short and purposeful - some would take offense to being compared as sheep if they don't agree with you. - From your friendly sheep advisor ba ba beh

their is no way your car needs a respray lol im having my trop green one done cause i have like 4 different greens on it.
sorry need to be honest about the wheels i think they looked the part white the colour doesn't do it for me now.

but eddie your car is mint and if your thinking of a 16ve won't you need all the hubs and driveshafts changing anyway or am i being thick their

yeh thanks for the psycho analysis but it's not cos i'm a sheep, it's cos it doesn't look good.

and don't get the spray, you don't really need it - go for engine, and then you'll have something approaching a FAST street car, well, nippy anyway. but thats not exactly what it is now - engine swap ftw

Eddie if im honest you picked the right colour for your wheels, they look fucking awesome mate!

You are completely right to sort the body work out first and then once thats done you will be laughing fella :D VE FTMFW

In my opinion this is easierly the best looking 1.6 almera on the club! FACT

Pure win lad :D

Eddie I was only asking about your experience with the VE out of interest into why you have decided to go with the SR16. Apparently you know enough about it to make your decision, thats up to you. Good luck with it son.
