Too many 3rd parties involved, 2nd opinion from a reputable place said there nothing wrong with the quality/finish of paintwork and was amazed how cheap I got them done as they charge £260 lol!

Not sure If I should lower it more as it stands, hoping a SR engine will drop it abit more anyway. As it stands the BC coilover barrel is level with the bottom mount bottom at the front.

Will see I guess! Just about gets over bump's as it is.. with passenger is scrapes usually :lol:
 
you need learn how to go over bumps ;) my gti was easily lower than that and I only ever scraped the bumper coming straight out my GF's driveway instead of my usual jaunty angle
 
I think the ride height is spot on. I actual fine the wheels less and less offensive the more i see them. :lol:
 
yeah they dont look tooooo bad, the car as a whole looks ace well done eddie,

love the non gti headlights too, look spot on.

im guessing the wheels look odd a no other gti has wheels thatcolour so its def different! :)

Its crap on camera, as it picks up only a solid flat colour. But not the texture of colours etc

Better in teh flesh imo... and yeah matt. was like that with me at first but you get used to it being different.


And re lower yeah think its spot on imo, arch wise. Will be perfected with SR under the hood though.

Depending on if my manager will allow me to do overtime over 40hours per week will be the decider VE or DE
 
didn't think an SR weighed much, if any, more than a GA eddie

i'd say leave height there if youre gettin cov's hubcentrics, tad lower if not
 
Yarrpp, chunkyer driveshafts & gearbox too boot.

Might actually have to raise her up abit, will take a before and after measurement outa curiosity!

Got 20mm Hubcentric on the rear atm, and nout on the front.

Hoping to get a 25mm one made up via COV's groupbuy so I can have 20mm front and 25mm rear. Then get arch's Rolled :)

Sit back and enjoyy.. bitch is a money pit atm.
