G's Vzr N1

I must agree with Liam re the figures. Bear in mind its a lowish reading dyno anyway.
I pulled 179hp on that dyno with S3s and VE pistons as a rough comparison.

lol I know the dyno is lower then the one at SRR, hence not even concerned about the figures till I get it run there, that will give me a proper comparison, good or bad...we can go forward after that about the figures..

Normal bluetops make 170-175bhp on the dyno's over here and N1's make just over 180 usually in the 183 184 range with the odd one making a really stupid figure like 130 which is a but mad.

POC has everything for mapping these including the standard maps and address files. it's very hard to work with that ecu tho.

Theres an Autobacs sticker in the engine bay of mine with 143ps stamped on it.

I get my comparisons by running against other cars.

Unmapped on shitty 95ron.i reckon some 99 and timing adjustments world yield another 10-12 bhp. Main thing is nice smooth lines

I always wondered what effect binning the AC off on the VZR would have on dyno figures.

On G's dyno graph it appears to actually loose power on the cam switch?

agreed, first goal here is to get smooth lines, will see what happens if much to the powerz ones that is achieved.

also I did this run with 95ron, wanted to see if I could get it remapped with that and use that, even on butt dyno in the past the 95 has never been as good as when always using vpower and the like.

Have a few things to try, but at least am in the position of having the option to try them, without getting a standalone ecu

just a little bit on the difference between dynos,

this all on the same type of dynos, just different places.

then a couple of days later, with no changes to the car, just a different dyno..

Surrey Rolling Road. 13/11/10

the above result is quite similar to what was shown at Power Engineering ...now fortunately I won't have to wait long for another test, as NPOC have a RR day at Surrey Rolling Road coming weekend, so again will be an interesting comparison

PE don't know how to set up dynos, or more likely, they couldn't be bothered to use the sensors properly on the day.
