G's Vzr N1

Just because a dyno reads lower than another doesn't make it shit, just shows you are a fool.

They could be 100% accurate figures there's no way of knowing.

Dyno's ought to be calibrated properly and standardised across the county. It's ridiculous that they aren't. You can't possibly get a true Bhp figure without a standard to compare it to.

Even if there was a nation wide calibration standard you would still get different results, there are so many variable factors on the day that can effect the final outcome.

Every car out the factory has a quoted power figure which is usually only a couple of bhp either way. Obviously over time the engine loses power through various factors but what i'm saying is that if it isn't the same dyno then quoting a rolling road power figure and comparing it to factory is a complete waste of time.

Air temperature, altitude, tyre pressure, engine and box oil viscosity are just some of the many variables that dramatically effect dyno figures.
Engine dyno's are just too impractical for us. Pick one RR dyno and just use it for comparison purposes is my 2pence worth.

Comparison of rolling roads aside has anyone had a N1 even close to factory specified figures of 197bhp? myth perhaps

Or it was special JDM dyno with 102 Ron race gas?
