i like the el cheapo mod though and the labels :D

Could be cause I have vacation atm... :D

But I decided that this GA14 won't be the engine I'll keep...
I'll try to get a GA16 later so I can get a hold of better tune parts, then will the fun part begin :cool: mby next year...

Got the head gasket a couple days ago...

Unfortunately I couldnt get rid of the shit inside the intake so I just gave it a wash.
Fucking waiting for a torque wrench...but in the mean time imma doing bodywork on my car.

DUDE i never realised how thick the walls are on a GA!!! OMG

i reckon you could bore that out easy to a 1.7 ie a 5-6mm over bore :D

call wossner they will make you some pistons ;)
then a small turbo following dales first route,

...but why bother with this one when a ga16 already has a lagrer bore and needs less work, also the head ports are small...would end up changing the head and would be better to just buy a ga16 in the first place.

thinking...nah...this engine is only temporary...cant be bothered to do any mods to this engine...thats why I called this thread a overhaul instead of crazy wtf N/A ga14de :rolleyes:

Boost is the way forward :D

Hope you get the idea how close it is.

Now my engine block started to rust in the garage lol...guess it was too clean :D
So I put every cleaned part inside...

A piss to clean the ring gapping so gonna get these ultrasound cleaned...hope it helps.

Also had luck with the crank oil seal (the oil pump side), found out they are actually universal so the seal cost me....

2 euro lol

Now I need to get a new pulley the old one is rubbish...I have a feeling that the sealing was ok and the pulley insert was worn out too much...will see.

Thats about it for now, tommorow I'm gonna look for GTi rotors, and other stuff I can think off.
