So today i went to tees-side airport TNT depo to pick up the replacement gearbox as it was leaking oil so could not be delivered.

As you can see nice and clean ready for fitting lol.

I know that lol,i changed my mind after i found out that is was not a straight fit etc after you and other told me,this box is from a p11 GTLE with 80k on the clock.Half of what the current gearbox has done.
 
Ok so i got a start with cleaning it up a bit,

Brackets etc got some rust treatment after the whole gearbox was wire bushed first.

[Next i am going to re grease the release bearing as it's in good condition and Gen Nissan bearing,then
grease the input shaft plus the clutch fork.

Whilst the box is off just change all you can.

Bearing, clips, seals.

Why put it all together then end up with an issue.
 
So i started to remove the current gearbox today,just had to put tools away for today,pissing down now,just as i was to unbolt it from the bellhousing

So i got the gearbox fitted today,just have the oil to put in and the wheels to put back on int the morning,then she's good to go,i upload i couple of pics later,not much to see really,also made some cross member poly bushes from some old poly drop link bushes.

Not fun trying to lift and mate the gearbox on your own ! I did not have a lift.
