N14 SR20 Hillclimb car

Having some fairly major setbacks at the moment. Diff bearing is stuck somewhere between japan and scotland and both of my blocks need rebored which would stick me into the next class up resulting in a pounding. The diff bearing should be here by the end of the month and a new block got posted today so all is not lost but its put me back about a month and snookered any chance of a test run before Doune.

On the plus side i got the brakes done today. Well almost done. Still need to re-plumb the rears but thats not the end of the world.

Gtir master cylinder and bias valve with some new plumbing

New discs, willwoods and ds2500 pads

Needed 5mm spacers to clear, luckily had 5mm spacers on the rear so robbed them to get it rolling.

Also got my grp wings and diffuser in. Wings off getting painted and diffuser is going to require a bit of work to get it fitted properly. Reckon the exhaust needs to be raised a tad and probably get a more compact rear box.

was thinking more

It's all got to be within the lines of the car I think as there are silhouette rules restricting Aero mods I think.

Hence get the exhaust nice and hight then the diffuser can fit within the silhouette :) as it stands the diffuser would need moulding round the exhaust or sit to low and maybe be illegal.. Again I don't know the exact rules but that would be my thoughts..

Quite right just not like the ones in the pictures. It should be doable that way or just chuck the exhaust out the side.

id be tempted t chop the spare wheel well out put a flat sheet in it place you can run the exhaust higher and to the center and also gives more space for mounting the diffuser..
Thats the plan but it won't be before the start of the season though. New block has arrived so hoping to get the engine together and in by the begining of next week. Diff bearing still awol and i only have 2 weeks of spare time left so looking like last years stock vzr may be going back in for the first event.
