Great result Ian, just shows that catcams have got it right with less lift and more duration. Hopefully once mines in and working I should see good results, does fill me with confidence seeing you're results

I was a little nervous to say the least. You cant find any info on these cams in the sr20, but it looks like catcams got it bang on!

Yeah not a lot of people have tried them, I'm glad I bought a set now, plus if you've got to 8k with no problems I could nearly push 9k I reckon

I think it would have still been making good power at 8500rpm, maybe more. Go for it.

I`d say the top end is the weak point. I wouldn`t like going beyond 8000rpm.

Forgot to add that Greg changed my 6 seres plugs to BKR7EIX. He said the colder plug would be better and allow him to give a more aggressive map.

I think the Catcam range of cams for SR20s may be worth a punt going from the power you've had!

yeah makes sence as the high comp creates alot of heat
