liam your splitter, skirts and spoiler and a ve head is yours ;)

ryan we all have different taste bud, that's what makes life interesting, and i have thicker skin than that so even if you did mean to offend (and i know you didn't ;)) it wouldn't bother me :D

M8 ! Nice with kits ! Nice with out ! Simples ! Lol !

heh that's easy to say when you have a full ms kit lol

You lot are giving me a complex !!!!!!!!

looking really good phil :) i would keep the backbox mate looks nice on it, it does look alittle sleeper, but the picture from the front looks as if the sun has got to it, not sure if a good polish would bring the colour back or a nice full respray :D

thanks mark, the box does look nice but its fooked, the internals have crumbled so much that when you shake it it sounds like a maraca lol, plus its only 2" and i'll be going 3" when the new bottom end goes on.

the paint hasn't faded that much tbh, its just the colour of red (z10) isn't as vibrant as the other red (aj4) that kingy's and your old one are painted in, and it will be getting a full respray sometime in the near future anyway ;)

well after some homework on the b13 sr20 ecu pinout i got my nemu setup fitted to test it and all is well

IMG_20120502_174335.jpg

here's a vid of me uploading the first base tune and the first startup, all i need to do now is create a tune file with the maps out of the16ve bin i pulled from the stock ve ecu and move the solenoid wires to two of the outputs that nemu uses and i can start using it on the ve as is :D

well nemu with the tunercode custom ecu firmware is more akin to standalone, as it has programmable outputs, so no need for separate boost controllers or cam switching devices etc. it has monitored input channels so direct link to wideband, map sensors, iat sensors etc, and being able to trigger things with the info it recieves, it also has launch control etc etc. have a look on nismotronic.com to see its current features, and with tunercode v6 due imminently its features will be even better :). nistune is more akin to a piggyback as you are tied to the base rom of whatever ecu you use, and it doesn't have any of the extra features.

as for dastek, well it doesn't even merit a mention in the same paragraph as those two lol

no they are trying to claim its a obd2 ecu... me and phil have been at them now for a few months about it

i have a board sitting waiting but at this rate im gonna just have to get a b13 ecu and go from there

Could you not ship one over for them to have a look at?

Spose they have to think of how much they can make back off it but if its like Nistune, they have 4/5 "types" of board which will work in a variety of cars.

the nemu board will work with most all usdm pre 95/96 sr20 and ka24 ecu's, it seems that after that the bin file changed from being 16kb to 32kb (in europe as well as the us), and while the hardware for the later ecu's with the 32kb bin is the same as obd2 they still use obd1 communication protocols (just like the ve ecu's) hence the confusion re obd1/obd2 for the eudm n15 gti ecu. i have tried pulling a full bin from the uk gti ecu but it will never complete the read properly so i haven't been able to send it to dave or john for them to look at for compatability or the nats stuff etc, so for now to use nemu you need to use one of the already mentioned usdm ecu's (or possibly an eudm p10 or n14 sr20 ecu as the hardware should be the same, though this isn't confirmed yet) but once tunercode v6 is released they will be working on compatibility for the later ecu's :) and for an enterprise thats less than 6 months old, having to currently use one of a select list of ecu's (which they can provide and fit the nemu into it for an extra $100USD) to get all the extra benefits of the custom firmware isn't such a pain imo ;)
