Heh my own 20ve bottom end is tucked up safely here bud (you don't honestly think I'd sully my ve head by putting it on a de block do you? ) the one you have was for rebuilding for nistro's tubby build, but he's since acquired ross's rebuilt autech bottom end so there is no immediate rush for that one you have there bud, just when you've got the time
just a minor update this time, the other day i finally got hold of a maplight/sunglasses holder out of a ph1 se, so yesterday i set about fitting it. to make things easy i cut out a piece of the roof lining out of the donor car to give me a template for the cutout as it's a bit of an awkward shape
i then cut out the hole in my roof lining and to my surprise the mounting bracket for the unit was already there, i had expected the wiring to be there but not the mounting bracket, so that was a bonus
after that it was just a case of screwing it in place
and with my sunglasses in their new home
like i said a minor update but one i'm glad of as i'm fed up of replacing sunglasses due to scratched lenses, now that should be a thing of the past
what was there before then mate. I've got one in my sport as standard and it's worth it's weight in gold. Not had any issues yet so far with them being scratched so hopefully you won't either
with mine being a pov spec there was nothing there at all before, I just had the courtesy light in the middle of the roof liner, when i pulled this from the scrappy I considered taking the rear map lights too at the same time but imo they look even more naf than the front ones do lol, so this one will be sprayed along with some of the other interior plastics in satin black at some time in the future . nah they wont get scratched any more as the glasses holder is foam lined, where as before I just put them in the door pocket and they slipped around in there hence the scratches.
