Sams VZ-R N1

Yeah all new Nissan CV boots.

Had never done it before and do not wish too ever again, was interesting seeing how they all went together though, also swapped over the ABS ring to the Autech shaft so I can get rid of the light on the dash atleast until I remove it.

I just painted the springs with some flexi poly paint. Probably going to get some Eibach springs at a later date.

I'm getting excited now just need the subframe collars and its go time!

Is that from Nissan uk because they tried to charge me 120 quid for some bumper clips because of the way they package things

we were trying to make some hybrid shafts for the silver shadow last week. With it getting my VZR box we just swapped boxes and both shafts, then had to swap the ABS rings over. The shafts that were on EMO were chunkier than the GTi ones too. So Emo now has the almera GTi box and shafts on it, can tell it doesnt accelerate as quick :( haha

Nice work though sambo

I'll be needing to make hybrid shafts from a Sentra when the HLSD goes in. Is it tricky? Obviously looks like boots will be a pain.

I have swapped from the single piece drivers side shaft that came with the car, to the GTi style one that bolts to the back of the block, nabbed it from an Autech

perv!

looking good though. Some brushable seam sealer would have been better before the paint mind. I used it on the GTi-R in the engine bay before the engine went in

effort though, two coats of this undercoat stuff then a coat of something called Tuff paint, its not exactly high impact areas in the centre of panels, anywheres thats actually exposed is coated properly in underseal ;) this car will last a long time.

Bit of a setback with the subframe collars though could be about a month wait :( delays getting the car back on the road aaand Im running out of things to do.

I did chop down a tree yesterday though.
