Sr20de cam install tips/help

Right the engine will only turn only about half the speed it should when cranking now,i have not done anything apart from cleaning plugs ect since last night. Wtf is going on chaps
 
Right i have another battary for later,i will post a vid up when cranking it later today also,then you guys can have a listen and see what you reckon,cheers for all the advice so far !
 
Is the rocker cover on?

Have you for some reason un plugged the injectors?

Is the fuel pump priming on ingnition?

Battery still sounds flat to me

I really dont know how you can skip a tooth using the JWT wood jam method. But, just go back to the start, TDC + exhaust cam dowel at 12 o'clock + 20 pins to inlet cam.

Sure he took the tensioner out. I found out when building ricks engine that when you take the tensioner out and put it back in, the cam gear will oh so easily skip a tooth. You could rotate the cam and only that gear would move just skipping every tooth.
 
Yeah i am thinking i have skipped a tooth on the intake sprocket,a fella on NPOC reckons its out by one on the intake also,so i check in the morning,i might just need to turn the cam a little for another tooth,then all should be well,as i know that the TDC is deffo correct,dizzy deffo correct,cam lobes pointing away from each other ect,so fingers crossed !
