Eddie's SRi

Well if im gona be paid out fuck all I want to know if I have to replace with stock parts etc before I start taking shit off. As I dont wana have to spend extra unless I have too. Or if they can exept just a shell as its gona get scrapped anyway.

you aint getting any money for your mods

the other party's insurance company is footing the bill. they DO NOT GIVE A FUCK about your mods or any insurance that adrian flux claims to have on them. the third party's insurance company will pay out based on the car's PRE ACCIDENT VALUE, this can be found by consulting the "Glass's" guide. they dont wanna know that the car has 600 quid worth of suspension on it or not...

if you do not remove your mods. you are gonna have them whipped away and some grease monkey will get the car for PENNY'S and sell everything for a mint.

pull your finger out and get that fucker stripped. so what if they argue the toss. your legal team is there to argue back.

just stop being so fucking hypothetical and get the parts OFF.

ask no more questions, ponder no more. just pick up a wrench and get on with it. so what if the car is sitting without suspension on the arches. not your problem.

Only took 2 days to get the point!

If the book price is £50, your payout will be £50, not a penny more!

As Ross says, it`s now scrap, so would you scrap a fully loaded car, or take the nice bits off 1st?

Of course not its still on my driveway I havent agreed to a value yet so the cars still not going anywhere. But id like to be sure if i needed to replace with other parts whilst im doing shit. Otherwise they might argue its not worth market rate now etc and try to refuse payout which I kinda need to buy another car lol! So im having to try and play buy the rules to ensure im not left struggling to buy another car

"pre accident value"

Will the car still be able to move if its got non suspension i.e SRi alloys bolted to hubs then lowered.. anyone wana see uber low N15?

Pre accident value so they will give me that value regardless of if its missing shit?

The way i see it, they will give you the value for a standard car, you have specifically insured all your mods but they wont care about that, so get them off now

Why are you/we still debating?

You will get the same amount, if it was burnt out or looked like that rolled civic in the other thread.

You will be paid for the car, what they collect from you is totally irrelavent!

They will probably send a hiab recovery truck (truck with a crane), so mobility shouldn`t be a problem, chain through the windows, pick it up, job done!

STRIP IT NOW!!!!

[/debate]

where do you live eddie?

seriously if you dont remove the parts then ill come down myself and steal them :)

now stop whinning like a little girl, and get the parts off!

I was about to say the same thing,. Whats your address, Omair and my cousin are down south, they can pay you a visit and take what they wish if you don't hurry the fuck up

Tomorrow morning, go outside, take everything off the bloody car, and wait for the recovery dude to collect. Insurance company don't give a fuck, and don't assume that coz you've declared your mods you'll get paid for them! NO! Declaring mods only means your insurance aint void

Just to moaning whining grieving, GET A MOVE ON!

Anyone down south could give me a hand stripping this fucker to barebones within next couple of days??

Regards

Mate I actually would be happy to if I wasnt working all day (9am-9pm) sunday and monday. Sorry dude :(

Ross, that last long post about pre-accident value and it not matter about taking the mods off did make it more clear. good to know :thumb:

Its not about if my mods are covered, I wanted to know if it was okay for me to remove my mods and no bother replacing them with anything. Kinda ludicrous them expecting me to spend £££ making car 100% just for them to then go and scrap it. After you have been in an accident with a young drivers/modified insurance company you expect them to answer some basic questions. I am forced to act on merely my own behalf it seems.

Ok eddie now your up get your tools and get out and strip it thing is id look at is the mods you got on the car worth more than the car if yes which it is then if you strip it you aint gunna loose them you will get payout whatever
