G's Vzr N1

I'll worry about the power figure some other day, at present just want to get that curve going smooth with no dips etc...as at present the car does drive great, pulls hard all the way to the redline, and yeah there is a rev limit, as I managed to hit it twice today, without even putting any effort into it, was actually surprised I hit it the first time, as I've driven the car hard in the past before and never even got near hitting the rev limit...just seems to go much better now

so hopefully with that dip removed it will drive even better

Anyone recommend a good clutch, looks like mine is on its last legs. Have to practically lift completely off the pedal for it to bite, plus can feel it slip when putting foot down. Clutch fluid levels all good.

Not sure which is on the car now, but its good, ideally prefer the same

Stock will be fine, N1 doesn't have enough torque to bother it.

I essentially put what looked like an MDF clutch in mine, held up well.

Have a chat with Greg@Gspec. OE B15 disc with his own choice of PP seems like a good combo.
Other than that avoid XTD.

Cool cheers. I expect there's nothing fancy on there, but whatever is on there is good, I must have done at least 30k miles in it since I got it, and not sure how long the clutch has been on there prior to that

Competition clutch, sod that, not need for that...

whichever one is on mine, probably OEM, has been on the car since I've had it, 3 years + however long for previous owner with no issues, done over 30k miles so can't complain...

Oem price for the following :
1x Clutch Cover, 1x Clutch Disc, 1x Clutch Bearing, 2x Spring Holder, 6x bolts - for £229.... will have a look at the Gspec option see if its any good with the shipping and stuff

There are many oem replacements but I'd go for a genuine setup if you could the genuine one I took out of mine when it pulled it apart actually looked near perfect and it stood up to a hell of a lot of abuse from me.

The one that's in mine now I wouldn't rate at all, paddle clutches are a bit shite too too harsh imo and judder a bit on take off not as smooth.

The closest I have felt to oem was an exedy stage 1, seemed to handle the abuse as well. There isn't a lot of torque so something more than that isn't necessary.

oh I've had a paddle clutch, in the turbo'd almera I had, was a fine when on the move, but sitting in traffic, was a proper pita, left leg would have given Arnie a run for his money at the time...lol it actually broke, so got a act organic clutch that was rated for quite high torque levels, and that was great, but it was fine for that car, for this, I'll see how Gspec's price compares to Oem, if not much different I'll just get it from Nissan

Still might be worth a look G if you can get it cheaper or similar price.
