Kristians Ph2 GTI+T

As im a builder by trade, I use my trade merchants expanding foam.. Sold in large cannister, its used with a 'steel foam applicating gun'..

Exciting stuff!!

Its a godsend in the trade and when bridging or makeing a custom shape in somthing.. its fantasic for filling, shaping, fibreglassing over, removing, fibreglassing under for strength, sanding and fine filling..

Long process, but you get perfect results with patience.. expeareance can make things easier and much faster....
 
Cheers that's handy to know as I'm looking into attempting my own bumper work. Will have to give this a try. What's best to use to shape the foam?

EDK - Simply a serrated blade to cut away the larged pieces, then simply sand down and shape with some coarse sandpaper

Exhaust is off, and suspension is off now too, but heres a before hand pics with the wheels on..

The front bumper is finished, as are the wheels..

The rear bumper is painted now as are the side skirts and spoiler..

Shes going in for the body painting either next week or the week after when its not to bitterly cold.. and the doors, front wings, bonnet and front bumper will be done then too..

...Grill is only a temporary thing, while I decide Which one I want.. Might even go back to a 2-slat..

Then in for exhaust, down for mapping, and coils are on last thing...

Then all the shows this year!! lol

The wrong offset police were well in force when the almera rolled off the production line.. you need 7'' width and et 20 at max to have a decent stance with the almera i think..

Well The 'exhaust place' rang me up and told me my system is ready and the car can be collected in the morning..

So.. Expect mucho pics of my D2 coilovers and turbo back complete 3'' Stainless Exhaust system..

Also some news on a big brake upgrade.

Car is getting closer and closer to completion, New grooved Rear discs and red stuff pads on order, also some new Dials to suit the interior more.. So my old Boost, Volts, and oil PSI wil be for sale very soon.
 
Been a bit delayed wiuth the 200sx we got in being repsrayed and with Craigs GTI coming in for a touch of work..

But its now in, so full steam ahead..

Bit more progress..

Brakes are on..

Front end has been broken down for engine work.. ( Mounts - Service - New Turbo Intake set-up.. and some other stuff )

Few pics of exhaust which is the most perfect thing ive ever seen.. this gives you an idea of the Quality of the repsray also.. Everything is done seperatly.. making sure all little crevices and creases are nicely covered..

285mm Front brake upgrade with WillWood 4x Pots, Drillled and Grooved Discs, Fast Road pads
