Since I lowered the car I had noticed the exhaust had began to knock on the rear beam link, so yesterday I popped over to see Alan again at Solid Fabrication.
Pretty close
Got it up on the ramps removed the midsection and chopped out the offending piece.
Tacking up the test piece
We dropped the car down and checked the clearance and all was well so whilst he finished up that piece I looked at a few items he had around.
Here you can see one of the benefits of Tig welding, next to no weld protruding on the inside.
and a Turbo manifold he had recently finished, considering he has only been welding/fabricating for 6 years the level he is at is incredible, he has such an eye for detail.
i was going to post up that the other end with the curve did'nt suit the car what so ever, but that now looks the dogs bollox mate, looks lovely, any videos of how it sounds
is he charging much for a 2.5 system do you know? Car looks good; is that ad08s you are running too? How are you finding them? I run them on mine and think they are brill for the street
Looks great Sam. I prefer the straight tip to the diesel tip you had before. It still looks subtle though. Must learn how to TIG weld soon. Lovely results.
